SEGA Toys has announced a new line of toys called Pyokotama in Japan.
Pyokotama are toys of characters made into balls. These balls could, however, “unexpectedly move and jump”, as if it is alive. The first wave of Pyokotama feature popular Japanese characters such as Pikachu, Doraemon, Hello Kitty, and Crayon Shin-Chan.
Here’s how the Pikachu Pyokotama looks like:
The Pyokotama requires four AAA batteries (sold separately) and lasts for about 2 hours. One costs 2500 yen (exclusive sales tax) and will launch in Japan on September 26, 2019.
