T-shirt manufacturer Uniqlo and The Pokemon Company have announced the theme for the UTGP 2019 (Uniqlo T-shirt Grand Prix) T-shirt design competition.
The theme for the 2019 competition is none other than Pokemon. This is the 14th design competition that is open to everyone worldwide.
You can submit your entries from October 23, 2018 to December 2, 2018 11:59pm JST. Winning designs will be sold as official Uniqlo T-shirts worldwide next year.
Here are the prizes:
Grand Prize: USD10,000, Special Trophy, Invitation to the Award Ceremony in Tokyo, Invitation to the 2019 Pokemon World Championships
Second Prize: USD2,000, Invitation to the Award Ceremony in Tokyo, Invitation to the 2019 Pokemon World Championships
Third Prize: USD1,000, Invitation to the Award Ceremony in Tokyo, Invitation to the 2019 Pokemon World Championships
Runner-Ups (multiple): USD500
The judges are The Pokemon Company President Tsunekazu Ishihara, Game Freak designer Ken Sugimori, and UT Creative Director NIGO.
