Previously, Nintendo’s E3 direct revealed that Trials of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) would be getting a remake on modern consoles. While the game has a refreshing new look, it looks like a key feature of the original Super Famicom game is still thankfully intact.
In a recent interview with Vooks, Square-Enix’s Shinichi Tatsuke spoke more about the game’s characters. In particular, Tatsuke confirms that the game still has multiple endings and story scenarios – depending on who players choose for their party!
First of all, the prologues for each of the six characters are completely different and the game also has multiple endings, depending on what combination of characters that you choose. But the story will also change, depending on that character combination.
The original Seiken Densetsu 3 had around 9 different endings – so it’ll be interesting to see if this number increases in the remake! We’ll report back when we hear more about this exciting action RPG launching in 2020!
