It looks like a Sunsoft classic will soon be getting its second shot in the modern era!
Limited Run Games and Sunsoft have revealed Trip World DX – a colorized remaster of the original Trip World for the Game Boy system heading to Nintendo Switch and other modern consoles. Open pre-orders for a physical standard edition (pictured above) of the game will commence on 28 April 2023 (10 am ET), at $34.99 USD each.
Additionally, the publisher also unveiled an $74.99 USD Collector’s Edition bundle (shown below) which contains extras such as a Trip World DX Soundtrack, an 18″ x 24″ Double Sided Poster, a Yakopoo Plush, and a Keychain.
