Last month, Universal Studios announced that it would be offering previews of Super Nintendo World in Hollywood to Annual Pass Holders – with reservations starting on 5 January 2023. Well, it looks like demand for this early sneak-peek got a little too hot for the company to handle.
Universal Studios has now acknowledged that a “network outage” affected its website when it opened these reservations – which prevented Annual Pass Holders from booking their visit to Super Nintendo World. As a result, the company has now stated that it will re-open registrations on 9 Jan 2023 (11 am PST) instead.
As reported previously, these special previews of the Nintendo-themed park will take place on 29 – 31 January 2023, 3 – 4 February 2023, and 8 – 11 February 2023. Following that, Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood will officially open to the public on 17 February 2023.
