Upcoming Nintendo Switch Physical Releases Come With Less Obvious Download Require Banner

In the last two years, collectors have been unhappy about the large and obnoxious “download required” banner found on the cover of Nintendo Switch physical releases for titles that require an extra download.

It seems Nintendo has heard the feedback of players as the “download required” banner has been changed for Nintendo Switch physical releases coming in April 2019 or later. For instance, This War of Mine: Complete Edition features a much smaller and less obvious notice at the bottom of the cover:

Mortal Kombat 11 features the same type of banner as well:
