Atlus has published new episodes of their “Daily Demon” series introducing demons featured in Shin Megami Tensei V.
The episodes this time focus on Lady Skadi and the Vile Baphomet, showing off their designs in the game and some of their moves. You can watch both videos below, along with an English translation posted by Zeruel4891 in the comments:
Lady Skadi:
A goddess of darkness of Celtic myth (TN: I think they mean Norse, but they say Celtic here). Her name means “shadow,” but this is meant to be the shadow of the place where the gods flee to on the final day of judgment.
Vile Baphomet:
A goat-headed demon who presides over black masses. When the Knights Templar were accused of idolatry, they were said to have dedicated themselves to a demon god of this name, and later became an object of worship by witches.
Shin Megami Tensei V launches November 11th 2021 for Switch in Japan and November 12th 2021 worldwide.
