World To The West Almost Came To Nintendo 3DS

Rain Games’ next Switch title, World to the West, is coming to the eShop next month. Yesterday the developers behind World to the West revealed a few more details about the project on Twitter which most have never known.

According to Rain Games, they initially had plans to bring World to the West to Nintendo 3DS. Plans were eventually scrapped as they didn’t have the budget to rebuild the game from the ground up just for the 3DS.

The team then set their eyes on the Switch. To test out the capabilities of the system and ease of porting, they first brought Teslagrad to Switch. It was a relatively easy and smooth process, even for World to the West.
