Hacking team fail0verflow has revealed the world’s firmware modification tool for Nintendo Switch, that could potentially open the door to more homebrew and piracy.
The tool is called SwitchX PRO, which can be embedded to the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con port. Fail0verflow claims that SwitchX PRO will be compatible with all firmware versions and no disassembly is required. Its release date is “coming soon”.
Another way users can modify their Nintendo Switch firmware without spending a fortune on the SwitchX PRO is by using a breadboard wire to install the firmware on Nintendo Switch. Once again, the hackers claim no disassembly is required and the technology works with all firmware versions.
