Xiaomi Backed Company Reveals Gaming Smartphone With Joy-Con Lookalike

Black Shark, a Xiaomi backed Chinese company that makes high-end gaming smartphones, has announced a new gaming smartphone with attachable controllers.

The smartphone costs USD600, features a 6″ AMOLED 2160×1080 display, 256GB of storage space, and 10GB RAM. More interestingly, the smartphone has two detachable controllers.

While it isn’t unusual to see detachable controllers used with smartphone, the controller Black Shark introduced for their latest model looks too close to the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con. Here’s the Black Shark left controller..

And here’s the Joy-Con:

This isn’t the first time a Chinese smartphone manufacturer was inspired by Nintendo Switch. Chinese giant Huawei compared their flagship smartphone to the Nintendo Switch during a product conference earlier this month.
