As many folks will know by now, the tragic death of George Floyd has spurred on a wave of angry protests against the US authorities. So far, many videogame companies have responded to the situation with support for the black community, and now it looks like Yacht Club Games is throwing in their hat into the ring as well.
The Shovel Knight developers released a new statement about how they would be supporting the Black Lives Matter movement presently and in the future. Aside from amplifying black voices, the company also pledged a number of $20,000 donations to various organizations either supporting black communities or the current protests.
