Earlier last week, Level-5 posted a video blog announcing its plans for the coming months – which teased another Yo-Kai Watch game for the Switch. While details were sketchy at the time, crucial new info has just been revealed!
Thanks to a clearer translation by Gematsu, we now know that Level-5 plans to bring over the first Yo-kai Watch to the Switch! According to Level-5’s virtual Youtuber Dennoji Reto, the game is due sometime after the Switch Lite and Switch port of Ni No Kuni release in September 2019:
“On the day Switch Lite releases, you’ll be able to play Ni no Kuni [on your Switch], and later on the first Yo-kai Watch is also coming out, so we would be grateful for your support.”
There were no further details about whether the game would be a remake or remastered port of some sort, however. In any case, we’ll report back when we hear more in the future!
