Level-5 has posted a new update regarding their upcoming Yo-Kai Watch 1 HD Remaster for Switch, revealing a brand new feature that was not present in the original 3DS release.
As it turns out, Level-5 will be adding online multiplayer to the Switch version of Yo-Kai Watch 1. This means that unlike the original version of the game (which supported local multiplayer only), Switch owners will be able to challenge their friends wherever they want, without having to be close to each other.
