Level-5 has updated Yo-kai Watch 4’s official website with details and in-game screenshots showcasing the game’s battle system.
Keita will be returning on this fourth installment as a “Watcher.” Still able to harness the powers of the Yo-kai Watch, Keita and friends takes on a new adventure exploring Springdale in immense detail and upgraded graphics.
As shown on previous trailers, Keita and company also battle alongside their partner Yo-kai’s – a battle system similar to that of Ni no Kuni.
Here’s a summary of the details:
– take part in battles directly, alongside your Yo-kai
– markers on the ground indicate where enemy attacks will land
– human characters taking part in battle are called “Watchers”
– Watchers use the full powers of the Yo-kai Watch to battle various enemies
