Last year, Level-5 teased that a new Yo-kai Academy (Yo-kai Gakuen) title was in development. We weren’t sure about the game’s platforms then – but now we have confirmation that Nintendo fans won’t miss out!
The developer has revealed via the latest issue of CoroCoro that Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y Wai-Wai Gakuen Seikatsu will be heading to Switch and PS4 in Summer 2020 for Japan. According to the magazine, the game will offer some sort of school-life experience, where players will battle with ‘Yo-kai Heroes’.
Along with this reveal, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino posted a new off-screen shot of the game. Take a look below!
Previously, Level-5 had also teased that the game would feature some kind of new battle system – along with the screenshot above. We’ll report back as we learn more information in the future!
