Digital Foundry has published their technical analysis for Yoshi’s Crafted World, the first Good-Feel developed title for Nintendo Switch.
In the video, Digital Foundry made an interesting revelation – Yoshi’s Crafted World is the first Nintendo game developed with Unreal Engine 4. This is something unusual as Nintendo typically uses their engines to make their titles. This is also the first Nintendo game to use dynamic scaling – the game’s resolution varies from 400p to 600p in Handheld Mode and TV Mode.
