A major development has happened in the Nintendo Switch Homebrew scene this week, with the arrival of an all-in-one emulator called Lakka.
Lakka is an all-in-one emulator powered by the RetroArch operating system, supporting a huge variety of video game consoles manufactured by Nintendo, Sony, and SEGA. This means with Lakka, you can play PSP, PS1, Nintendo DS, Dreamcast, and even Virtual Boy games on Switch.

As homebrew is still in its infancy on Nintendo Switch, there are still common issues that Lakka faces on Switch, such as battery and internal clock desynchronization. Audio, Sleep Mode, and wireless Joy-Con don’t work with the emulator yet.
