Nintendo has released new details about the interesting regions in Koholint Island including character profiles for Tarin, Madam MeowMeow, and Schule Donavitch as per their roles in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake on Switch!
If you’ve missed the previous profiles and clips, you may catch up on them here, here, here, and here.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake will be hitting the Nintendo Switch on 20th September 2019.
You can read up on the places of interests and characters in further detail below:
Yama Desert
This is the Yarna Desert, located in the south-eastern part of the island in The Legend of Zelda: LInk’s Awakening. Watch out for the tall monsters called Pokeys. It’s easy to mistake one for a cactus, but they’re an unusual sort that can only be defeated by attacking the head on the very top.
Cemetery
This is the “cemetery” located roughly near the center of the island. It’s creepy! It’s the only graveyard in Koholint Island which is infested by Ghinis. Ghinis require more hits before you defeat them. They often attack in groups. If you are surrounded, it would be better to escape.
Animal Village
This is “Animal Village” located east of the island. As the name suggests, its community is populated entirely by talking animals – a talking rabbit, a bear, a hippo … it’s full of weirdos.
Madam MeowMeow
Tarin
Schule Donavitch
He is a famed artist and sculptor living in Animal Village. One of his most famous works is placed somewhere in the island, so why not look for it?
