With the reveal of the Donkey Kong Expansion for the Super Nintendo World theme parks, many fans are wondering what future Nintendo franchises might be next in line for their partnership with Universal.
Among these franchises, The Legend Of Zelda is often featured in discussions and rumors. Adding fuel to the speculation is a new promotional video about the construction of the Epic Universe Park in Universal Orlando, where another Super Nintendo World park is being built. As highlighted by Tokyo Game Life via Gartooth on Famiboards, The Legend Of Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma is briefly seen standing alongside Shigeru Miyamoto wearing construction gear, somewhere in the middle of the video.
That said, Aonuma’s presence isn’t necessarily confirmation that a Legend Of Zelda expansion is in the works for the park, as he could be there accompanying Miyamoto in his role of Senior Officer at Nintendo EPD. Stay tuned for more developments as they come.
