A Hat in Time will now include contents from the “Seal the Deal” DLC for its Switch version, developer Gears for Breakfast announced via a tweet.
Alongside the announcement, Gears for Breakfast also released a set of screenshots, featuring the DLC, to give an update on the development of the critically acclaimed 3D platformer – A Hat in Time. However, due to the inclusion of the DLC, it took more time developing the game as originally planned.
We are very excited about all we have coming up for A Hat in Time, but we also know there’s been a big question about DLC on consoles. We want to be able to bring as much Hat content to our players as possible. Due to certain circumstances we aren’t able to use the same methods we used to bring the base game to Xbox One and PlayStation, but we will continue to explore options.
As for when the game is coming, Gears for Breakfast is yet to announce a release date for the west. We only know that A Hat in Time will be coming in Spring 2019 in Japan, as revealed during the Japanese Nintendo Direct.
