Meowth is taking over raids starting today and there’s a good chance of finding a shiny one during this event!
The Pokemon Company of Japan’s Twitter account shared a tweet today announcing a new event in celebration of Golden Week in Japan.
Until 8:59 on May 3 (Monday / holiday), a large number of meowths from various regions are appearing in the Pokemon Nest of “Pokemon Sword Shield”! Enjoy Golden Week with Meowth!
This promoted raid event will also make it easier to find Shiny Galarian Meowth in 5 star raids with a chance of 8% for them to be shiny! Check out @pkmncast‘s tweet below with the details and odds for all the forms.
To activate this event in you game, you just have to connect to the internet, select the Mystery Gift from the menu, and then choose “Get Wild Area News”.
