Angry Fans Tweet #NotMyZelda After The Zelda Lead Was Revealed For The Legend Of Zelda Movie

After Shigeru Miyamoto revealed the leads for The Legend of Zelda live-action movie, fans disappointed with the lead actors and actresses started spamming social media with angry hashtags.

Some of these fans, in particular, were expecting Hunter Schafer to play as Zelda, but Bo Bragason was confirmed as the actress playing Zelda instead.

Hashtags such as “#NotMyZelda” and “#WeWantHunter” have been spammed across tweets related to The Legend of Zelda live-action film, including the post that Shigeru Miyamoto had posted on the official Nintendo account in Japan. Some of these posts have even accumulated thousands of likes, with angry comments thrown around between supporters and haters.
