Missed your chance to grab more lovely Animal Crossing amiibo cards of your favorite villagers? Well, don’t fret, more are on the way in a few months!
Following a complete sell-out of the reprint that launched on March 20, the amiibo cards from series 1 – 4 and the ‘Welcome amiibo’ series will be returning to Japanese retailers in June 2020, according to GAME Watch. As we reported previously, the special Sanrio collaboration cards will unfortunately not see a similar restock.
For those out of the loop, these cards have been highly sought-after by fans – since they allow players to invite the card’s specific villager to live on the island. Essentially, those with many of their favorite cards can ensure only their favorite characters are present in the game.
We’ll report back as soon as international pre-orders go live from Amazon Japan again. Stay tuned!
