Earlier this year, Koei Tecmo revealed Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg – a modern revival of the original 1997 PlayStation alchemy adventure. Well, Atelier series fans can now mark their calendars for its release later this year!
Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have officially confirmed that the title will release on 13 July 2023 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and Steam. Along with this, the companies revealed more new features for the game – such as a new Unlimited Mode that will allow players to enjoy the game without the original’s 5-year time limit.
In Japan, the game will retail for 6,380 yen. A 8,580 yen Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available – and will include extras such as a 33-costume set, a “Gust Extra Background Music Pack,” and the original PlayStation title Atelier Marie Plus: The Alchemist of Salburg. Additionally, the game will also receive a 10,230 yen Premium Box release (includes a copy of the game, art book, clear card set, and “1997 & 2023” soundtrack selection CD) and a 19,800 yen Special Collection Box (includes the Premium Box content, a B2 tapestry, special data book, acrylic diorama stand, and set of 20 clear bookmarks).

It’s up to you to choose where to begin! Work hard to graduate from the Academy, but be sure to enjoy yourself along the way.
