It’s been two years since Shin Megami Tensei V was first announced for Nintendo Switch. There hasn’t been much news about the game from Atlus in the last two years.
As such, rumors have been spreading among those in the Megami community that Atlus cancelled the game, even though the company has clearly said it is still in development. Reddit user Someguy12121 asked Atlus customer support whether the rumors are true, and they firmly stated that the cancellation rumors are fake news:
“The game is still being worked on. Any rumors about SMTV being cancelled are made up.”
