Cosplayers Campaign At PAX AUS 2018 For Playable Waluigi In Smash Bros. Ultimate

It seems like some fans are still discontented about Waluigi’s status as a non-fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The cosplayer group Kakariko Krew appeared in full force to protest for the purple-clad character at PAX AUS 2018. Some held signs saying “lemme smash”, and “#Wahtaboutme” – claiming that Nintendo was blocking Waluigi’s inclusion as a playable fighter purely out of spite.

Apparently, this unnerved some Nintendo staffers and attendees at the event. Thankfully, however, it seems like everything proceeded peacefully.

In any case, it seems like Nintendo of Australia now has some interesting news to relay to Smash producer Masahiro Sakurai.
