Thanks to leaked copies of Pokemon Sword And Shield, dataminers have been tearing through the games and sharing all of their secrets to the world.
This latest scoop details what could be the final list of Version Exclusive Pokemon between Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. This list was compiled based on the games’ encounter tables, which detail which Pokemon can be caught in the wild for both games. As a reminder, version exclusive Pokemon are creatures that can be caught in one version of the game, but not the other (e.g. Sirfetch’d is exclusive to Pokemon Sword).
That said, as this list was put together by a third party examining the datamine, it may have slight inaccuracies. Furthermore, as these are based on encounter tables, they do not account for in-game trades or gift Pokemon. We will be sure to bring further updates on version exclusive Pokemon from official sources should they become available.
