Previously, we reported that the original Deponia would be hitting Nintendo Switch in March 2019, based on retail listings. However, it seems like Daedalic Entertainment will need more time to get the game to shelves and the eShop.
According to a recent tweet by the publisher, they had to delay the game by one month. A retail listing on Amazon.de now also lists the Switch version as launching on 24 April 2019 instead – which hopefully isn’t a placeholder date this time.
While it’s a small shame for fans of Rufus’ chaotic exploits, Daedalic Entertainment must have good reasons to push the release back. We’ll report back when we hear more.
