During today’s Nintendo Direct, a new DLC expansion for Donkey Kong Bananza was announced for Nintendo Switch 2, available as paid DLC from September 12, 2025.

The expansion pack will allow players to explore islands that debuted in past Donkey Kong games, as well as a new mode called Emerald Rush. It will also be possible to enjoy Emerald Rush in levels in the main story, and collect statues of enemies.
