Toy company Hasbro has announced that Doug Bowser has joined their Board of Directors.
This news comes shortly after Bowser officially retired from his position as President of Nintendo of America earlier this year, succeeded by Devon Pritchard. Bowser is joined on Hasbro’s board by Carla Vernón, former CEO of The Honest Company.
Chris Cocks, CEO of Hasbro, had this to say about the additions:
“Doug and Carla bring deep expertise in building iconic brands, creating meaningful consumer experiences, and driving innovation and transformation across their respective industries. Their leadership will be invaluable as we continue to execute our Playing To Win strategy and deliver extraordinary play experiences to fans around the world.”
