Interesting news – Ojiro Fumoto, the creator of award winning indie game Downwell, was involved with the development of Ring Fit Adventure.
According to the Kyoto Report, Fumoto was credited with the design of mini games (Game Design – Minigame) in Ring Fit Adventure. This means Fumoto had some involvement in designing Squat Goals, Gluting Gallery, and Core Crushing, three minigames in Ring Fit Adventure.
Unfortunately, Fumoto has left Nintendo after his short stint there, so we won’t be seeing him work on more games there.
