As reported previously, The Pokemon Company works with various cities in Japan to install various manhole covers with special Pokemon themes, as part of a larger initiative to boost local tourism.
The Japan’s Fukushima prefecture is installing 8 new manhole covers in Shirakawa, Hirata, Hirono, Kunimi, Yugawa, Tanagura, Kagamiishi, and Aizubange, – which all feature the region’s mascot Pokemon Chansey.
