After much speculation on the Internet, Eurogamer has confirmed that Bandai Namco are indeed the developers working on Metroid Prime 4.
Eurogamer narrowed down the lead studio to Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, the same source of rumors for Ridge Racer 8‘s release on Nintendo Switch. Many former employees who worked at LucasArts Singapore and the canceled Star Wars 1313 project are reportedly working at Bandai Namco Studios Singapore.
Bandai Namco Studios Singapore previously worked on UI design for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and played a supporting role in a couple of other projects. Metroid Prime 4 would be the studios’ first major project.
