Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series Rated For Nintendo Switch By The ESRB

It looks like some classic and remastered Final Fantasy adventures might be getting a fresh release on Nintendo Switch in the future!

The ESRB has updated its listings for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series – a collection of six games that remaster Final Fantasy 1 – 6 with universally updated 2D pixel graphics and a rearranged soundtrack which only released for PCs and mobile devices between July 2021 and February 2022. While the six games were only rated for Windows PC previously, these ESRB ratings now newly list both Nintendo Switch and PS4 as platforms as well.

Here are more details of the ratings below (click to enlarge):

Currently, Square Enix has not officially announced a Switch release for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series – but these updated ESRB ratings appear to be a promising sign that we may hear more news in the future!
