The Fire Emblem’s official Japanese Twitter account has revealed some details about the upcoming Cindered Shadows DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Previously, it was confirmed that Cindered Shadows would require players to use predetermined characters to complete the DLC. Now, in a series of posts on Twitter, it has been further clarified that this means players will be limited to using only 11 characters during the entirety of the DLC.
This list includes the player avatar Byleth, the three house leaders, three additional representatives from each house, and the four newly introduced Ashen Wolves characters:
Original game
Byleth
Edelgard
Linhardt
Dimitri
Ashe
Claude
HildaAshen Wolves
Yuri
Constance
Balthus
Hapi
Presumably, this means players will not be able to use any other characters outside of these 11 to complete the DLC. While this may offer an interesting challenge, it might be a bit of a bummer to anyone looking forward to using a favorite character that’s not on this list.
The Fire Emblem: Three Houses Cindered Shadows DLC releases on February 13th 2020.
