A screenshot on the Nintendo Switch 2 website gives us a first look at the Nintendo eShop.
The layout of the Nintendo eShop looks very similar to that on the Nintendo Switch, however it has a few additions. Let’s take a look.
This is the Featured section that is the same on Nintendo Switch. It shows titles highlighted by Nintendo.
This tab lets you search for products by category, price, and publisher. It should be the same as how it works on Nintendo Switch.
This is a new tab brand new to Nintendo Switch 2. We believe that it is a discoverability tab that recommends you titles similar to the ones you’ve purchased previously.
The wishlist shows titles you’ve previously wishlisted. There is also an indicator showing how many titles are available on discount. Previously, the wishlist was hidden in the Accounts tab.
This tab shows all of the titles available on sale/discount, which should be similar to Nintendo Switch.
This shows the top-selling titles on Nintendo eShop, which should be similar to Nintendo Switch.
This shows the latest titles on Nintendo eShop, which should be similar to Nintendo Switch.
This shows titles coming soon to Nintendo eShop, which should be similar to Nintendo Switch.
This tab shows content available for Nintendo Switch Online members, which should be similar to Nintendo Switch.
Here, you can redeem codes purchased from retailers.
It’s also worth mentioning that Nintendo Switch 2 titles and Nintendo Switch 2 Editions will feature a Nintendo Switch 2 banner above their hero banners:
