As reported previously, The Pokemon Company works with various cities in Japan to install various manhole covers with special Pokemon themes, as part of a larger initiative to boost local tourism. Well, here are even more that will be gracing the country’s streets!
Japan’s Akita prefecture is installing 5 new manhole covers in Senboku, Kazuno, Oga, and Yokote – which all feature various Pokemon. Each one emphasizes a famous feature of wherever it is installed, such as Akita’s adorable dogs being represented by a cover of Growlithe, Rockruff, and Dachsbun.
