It looks like Square Enix fans are in for even more modern remasters from the company’s wide collection of franchises!
Publisher Forever Entertainment has inked a deal to develop multiple remakes based on one of Square Enix Japan’s IPs. The specific identity of this IP is currently unknown, but the agreement states that Forever Entertainment will receive over 50% of the revenue from the sales of these remakes.
Previously, Forever Entertainment was responsible for the 2020 release of Panzer Dragoon: Remake on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. Additionally, the company is now working on Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake for a 2021 release.
We’ll report back as this develops further in the future. Stay tuned!
