Indie hit Freedom Planet receives Playable Demo on Nintendo Switch

35% Discount available until 12th December 2018

Tunbridge Wells, England – 29th November 2018 – Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games have today announced that a playable demo of GalaxyTrail’s smash hit Freedom Planet is now available to download on the Nintendo Switch from the Nintendo eShop within Europe and Australia, going live at 9am PST in North America.

Freedom Planet is a fast-paced, combat-driven platform adventure that pits the spunky dragon girl Lilac and her friends Carol and Milla against hostile foreign powers in a bid to save their planet from destruction.

This free downloadable demo will allow fans to experience the complete first stage in the games Time Attack mode with either Lilac or Carol; with each character offering a unique playstyle.

About Freedom Planet:
Take back the world of Avalice and return peace to its three kingdoms for the first time on a handheld console! Play as one of three characters – Lilac, Carol or the unlockable Milla – each with their own unique gameplay style, and use their individual skills to forge a path through the gorgeous 2D pixel art and lush multi-scrolling backdrops that make up the stages in Freedom Planet.

Each character’s abilities add new ways to fell foes and traverse tumultuous terrain, employing the game’s momentum-based platforming and sprawling level designs to reward players with a seemingly bottomless barrage of secrets, alternate paths, hidden collectables, and speed run opportunities for faster clear times.

Key Features:
* Adventure or Classic – Immerse yourself in the story of Freedom Planet with over one hour’s worth of fully voiced cutscenes in the games ‘Adventure Mode’ or get straight into the platforming action with ‘Classic Mode’.
* Three Playable Characters – Return peace to the world of Avalice with Lilac, Carol and Milla; each with their own unique playstyle and abilities
* Time Attack – Replay previously completed levels at any time and challenge yourself to obtain the fastest time
* Multi-Language-Support – English audio with English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Korean text localisation support

Developed by GalaxyTrail, Freedom Planet is published on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Europe, Australia and New Zealand by Marvelous Europe, and in North America by XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc.. The game is rated PEGI 12, USK 12 and ESRB E10+.
