Furukawa Says It Won’t Be Easy To Sell The Switch In China

Japanese financial paper Nikkei has published an interview with Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa today.

Nikkei asked Furukawa to comment about the Nintendo Switch launch on December 10, 2019 in China. The president doesn’t believe it would be easy to sell the console in China, but it’s a challenge worthy of tackling.

“I don’t think it’ll be easy to move the Switch in China, but it’s a challenge that is worth tackling. I hope with Tencent’s sales network and the appeal of our entertaining game console, we could increase the number of Nintendo fans in China.”
