Gearbox CEO Says He Would Love To See The Borderlands Series Happen On Switch

Just recently, a brief Twitter exchange happened between a Borderlands fan and Gearbox President and CEO, Randy Pitchford.

Prior PAX East, Gearbox previously released a series of tweets apparently teasing Borderlands 2 is being re-released for modern platforms. That did happen, though, in the form of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, but a Switch version isn’t included. Meanwhile, Gearbox announced Bulletstorm for the Nintendo Switch.

That said, fans were a bit curious if there was ever a chance for a Switch-port to happen. One fan by the name of Mingu (@DuvalMagic) has taken the matter to Twitter and asked Randy Pitchford directly. Interestingly, Pitchford replied saying he would love to see the series happen on the hydbrid console.

Here’s the brief exchange:

What do you think? Will Gearbox’s CEO ever make it happen? Let us know in the comments!
