Grandma Spends Over 3500 Hours Playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf Everyday

Today we have a touching story to share with you from Twitter user Paul Hubans.

Hubans, who was helping his 87 year old grandmother to perform a system transfer from her old Nintendo 3DS to New Nintendo 3DS, found something interesting in his grandma’s Activity Log. As of December 31, 2018, his grandma has spent 3580 hours and 4 minutes in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, diligently playing the game everyday since she started on December 25, 2014:

At press time, Hubans’ tweet has attracted over 32,000 likes and 9000 retweets. Many people were amazed by the granny’s dedication to the game, and found the story to be too sweet.

Some fans have asked Hubans to start a GoFundMe as they wanted to buy Hubans’ grandma a Switch to play the upcoming Animal Crossing game releasing this year, which you can check out below:
