Hi-Hat Cafe Trademarked By Nintendo In Japan

Nintendo has registered a very strange trademark called “Hi-Hat Cafe” in Japan.

According to the trademark application, there are several purposes for the Hi-Hat Cafe trademark. They include video games, paper or plastic products, clothes, and even amusement parks.

Given how vague Hi-Hat Cafe sounds, we have no idea whether it’s an actual cafe, or some sort of video game or smartphone application Nintendo intends to release in the near future.

What do you think it is? Let us know in the comments.

UPDATE: Apparently this has something to do with Detective Pikachu. Thanks Matthew!
