Hundreds Of Japanese Block Walkways To Catch Pokemon In Pokemon GO

It’s been two years since Pokemon GO debuted worldwide, and while you might think the craze has died down everywhere, that isn’t the case in Japan.

During the Pokemon GO Special Weekend event, Latias appeared as a Raid Boss at various gyms. When a Shiny Latias appeared at a gym in Akihabara, Tokyo, hundreds of trainers started congregating on the narrow walkways, blocking the way of other people:

Thankfully, there were no reports of unruly trainers during the Special Weekend event, so hopefully it stays the same way.
