Inti Creates has released a new cache of concept art from Dragon Marked for Death – which highlights another one of its main characters.
This time, we get a closer look at the ‘Warrior’ – with rough sketches of his previous human life, and some of his design details. Check them out in the Twitter link below, along with a rough translation of his solemn backstory.
He grew up an orphan in the Dragonblood Clan orphanage, and bears the power of the Astral Dragon in his chest. The younger orphans looked up to him like an older brother. While fishing in a nearby river, his brothers and sisters were slain by the Divine Knights.
Dragon Marked for Death will be launching digitally on 31 January 2019. The game will also get a physical retail release in North America on 26 February 2019.
In the meantime, you can also check out previous concept artwork for the Empress over here.
UPDATE (24/1/19): The physical release of date of 26 February 2019 appears to have been a placeholder. Inti Creates has officially announced that the physical edition of the game is launching on 26 March 2019, instead.
