Last year, The Pokemon Company worked together with many prefectures in Japan to have Pokemon such as Slowpoke and Chansey represent them as Pokemon ambassadors to promote tourism.
Now it seems the next in line to receive an official Pokemon ambassador is Iwate prefecture. Although we don’t know which Pokemon will represent Iwate at this time, we won’t have to wait too long to find out as an official event revealing the identity of that Pokemon will be held on May 14, 2019. We’ll keep you updated once the Pokemon is revealed!
Who do you think it will be? Let us know in the comments.
