Japanese Gamer Creates Chart Showing Pokemon They Guess Will Be Cut From Sword And Shield

Following the announcement of the removal of the National Dex from Pokemon Sword and Shield, an anonymous Japanese gamer and Pokemon fan published an unofficial chart of what they believe are the Pokemon that will be included and excluded from Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Pokemon trapped within a box and several lines are Pokemon that the person thinks won’t be included in Pokemon Sword and Shield, while those without could be brought over to the game. In total, the person believes slightly over 150 Pokemon out of 850 or so Pokemon from Generation 1 to 7 could be transferred to Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Taking a closer look at the chart, you should have realized that most of the Starter Pokemon, Legendary Pokemon, and Mythical Pokemon from previous games have been cut, except for popular ones such as the Charmander evolutionary line and Mew. Very popular Pokemon such as Pikachu and its evolutionary line and Eevee and its evolutionary line seem to be guaranteed.

Please keep in mind this is an unofficial chart, so the final number of Pokemon cut from Sword and Shield could be less than 650.
