It seems the Mega Drive Tower Mini isn’t the only set of “Mini” accessories Sega is making for the Mega Drive Mini.
As seen on the Japanese Sega store, a special Collector’s Edition for the Mega Drive Mini is now available for Pre-order. The set includes the Mega Drive Mini console, the Mega Drive Tower Mini accessory set, along with 22 additional mini cartridges in a framed display case.
As with all of the Mega Drive Mini accessories, the cartridges are purely cosmetic and don’t actually contain any games. Nevertheless, its a cool addition to the set, and a perfect representation of the glorious over-the-top excess Sega was known for back in those days.
