Kickstarter Campaign Suspended For Using Super Mario Artwork

A Kickstarter campaign to fund the Dongii Switch dock and 65 GaN charger was recently suspended for legal issues.

The Kickstarter campaign was first taken down with a message saying it’s been suspended due to intellectual property (IP) issues. After GoNintendo contacted the company behind the Kickstarter, the IP issues were then made clear – Nintendo wasn’t happy about the company using Super Mario artwork to promote their campaign and wanted the art to be removed. Once the artwork is removed, it’ll be back live on Kickstarter.
