Kirby Once Again Wins Nintendo Dream’s Top 20 Video Game Characters Poll

Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream has once again published the results of their top 20 video characters poll in the May 2019 issue of the magazine.

The list has changed quite a bit with the addition of some wildcard choices like Undertale characters joining the race. However, everyone’s favorite pink puff Kirby yet again emerged right at the top with a pretty generous vote margin above even The Legend of Zelda’s Link!

Check out the list below, in order of vote-count.

1. Kirby (Kirby) – 111
2. Link (The Legend of Zelda) – 90
3. Pikachu (Pokémon) – 81
4. Mario (Super Mario)
5. Sans (UNDERTALE)
6. Luigi (Super Mario)
7. Isabelle (Animal Crossing)
8. Meta Knight (Kirby)
9. Chrom (Fire Emblem)
10. Eevee (Pokémon)
11. Zelda (The Legend of Zelda)
12. Inkling (Splatoon)
13. WaddleDee (Kirby)
14. Yoshi (Super Mario)

16. SamusAran (Metroid)
17. Frisk (UNDERTALE)
18. Corrin (Fire Emblem)

Of course, these numbers are only indicative of Japan’s own tastes. Who do you think should have made the top spot this year? Let us hear your comments below.
